Nurtured Heart Approach® Immersion – Rancho Cordova CA
Apr 26 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This course runs two hours a week for six weeks immersion class for The Nurtured Heart Approach which was created by Howard Glasser.  It is an essential set of strategies for transforming difficult children, often the most intense, and channeling their energies in transpiring ways without the use of medication. The approach began as a method for treating children labeled as “challenging, intense, or difficult”- especially those with diagnoses such as ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Autism, PTSD, Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and more. The approach has been used successfully in schools and in many foster homes to help children flourish.

Facilitator, Adrienne Buhacoff, Certified Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer, will help you take steps toward shifting negative behaviors and inspiring thriving relationships, not only for the children you live with but with all the people in your life. Please join us for this special series. You must attend all of these classes for a certificate of attendance.

Class is Wednesday evenings from 7 PM – 9 PM on the following dates: April 19, 2017, April 26, 2017, May 3, 2017, May 10, 2017, May 17, 2017, and May 24, 2017

It equips parents and teachers to provide a rich flow of recognition and clear structure, creating dramatic shifts in classroom culture and providing a strongly positive social-emotional framework. Both behavioral and academic success are more attainable for students surrounded by adults trained in NHA.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
